Set the Production Shield

Note: These procedures apply for version 2018.6.0 or later. SeeConfigure Production Shield for versions prior to 2018.6.0.

Production Shield allows administrators to add another layer of protection for documents that should not be exported (or produced). When using Production Shield, such documents are identified during the validation phase of the export process, giving administrators the opportunity to correct conflicts and ensure only appropriate documents are produced.

Setting the Production Shield for a search allows you to define rules for identifying documents based on any of the following criteria:

• Fields within the case

• Review Pass/Batch

  • Assigned To

  • ID

  • Review Status

  • Set

• Doc Tags

• Redaction Categories

• Review Status

After you have prepared for export/production security, complete the following steps:

1. Open the case being searched.

2. Click Advanced Search in the Case View pane

3. In the Saved Searches tab, locate the needed Public saved search.

4. Right-click the needed saved search and choose Set as Production Shield. Note: To remove the production shield, right click the saved search, and choose Remove Production Shield.
